Because StyleSeat drives new clients to our Marketplace to select a Pro in their area, take this opportunity to make your profile truly stand out. Add your services, showcase your best client photos, and update your availability. These changes not only make your profile pop, but also boosts your visibility in search rankings on the Marketplace. With a bookable profile featuring high-quality photos and a full list of services, you’ll be getting booked in no time.

When a new client spots your profile and wants to book an appointment, they’ll request to book directly through your profile. We’ll send you a New Client Connection request, giving you the power to accept or decline the booking.

How Much Does a New Client Connection Cost?

After your first New Client Connection appointment, you  pay a one-time fee: 

Premium Plan:

  • 30% one-time New Client Connection fee (service cost only) from the first appointment with a new client StyleSeat sends you (max $50 fee).

Basic Plan:

  • 30% one-time New Client Connection fee (service cost only) from the first appointment with a new client StyleSeat sends you.

We reinvest this fee into campaigns that bring in even more clients to our Marketplace, so we can help keep your calendar full with appointments.  After that one-time fee, you can keep that client for life and the full cost of all future appointments.

How do I accept a New Client Connection?

We’ll send a notification straight to your phone and email with the details on the New Client Connection. Once you have been notified of a New Client Connection, yYou will have 24 hours to accept or decline the new client request.We’ll show you exactly where they are coming from, how much you’ll earn from the appointment, and a preview of projected future earnings from every new client.

What happens if I don’t respond?

After 24 hours, we will automatically cancel the appointment from your calendar and direct the client to other professionals. Please note: repeated instances of non-responsiveness to a New Client Connection affects your performance in our Marketplace.

What happens if the appointment was booked in less than 24 hours in advance?

If the appointment is booked within 24 hours, then the appointment is accepted automatically and added to your calendar. You will have the ability to cancel the appointment if you don’t want it on your calendar. However, repeated cancellations of New Client Connections affect your performance in our Marketplace, and we suggest you turn the feature off if it does not work for your business.

How will I know I have a New Client Connection?

You will see a notification in the app when you receive a new request. We will also send a notification straight to your phone and email with the details. You can easily access and review all your new client requests on your home tab.

Do I have to accept new client requests?

Not at all! Our accept and decline feature is designed to give you the power to expand your clientele and boost your revenue with confidence. To have the best experience on our marketplace, accepting new clients helps you earn the revenue you always wanted and enjoy perks like becoming a Top Pro with an improved search ranking.

With the Premium Plan, you can easily pause new client requests by turning off New Client Connection, giving you control over when you’re ready to welcome new clients.
